The Prophetic

"But You are the same, and Your years will have no end." (Psalm 102:27)

The Blessed Trinity is, "the same," and nothing of Him, "will...end."  A Follower of Jesus Christ never has to "store up" anything.  Jesus is our constant Supply, continually breathing His Words, His Life, His All in us and through us to a dying and lost world.

Last week I was in a conference which dealt primarily with the "prophetic."  It was a good time with Brethren whom I have known for nearly 42 years.  My personal take on the "prophetic" is that when we stay in the, "the Word of God," prophesy is a continual flow, a continue fresh "breeze" of the Holy Spirit.  Never ever say, "We need a fresh word from the Lord."  There is nothing fresher than the "God-Breathed" Words, the Bible.  Jesus Christ is the Breath of God revealed in, "the carpenter's Son."  Nothing, my friend, can be more "fresh" to the weary soul than Jesus' constant abiding in us and we in Him.

If you and I are daily in the Scriptures, and remember, "all Scripture is God-  Breathed," if we abide in Jesus Christ, who said, "For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world....I am the bread of life.  He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst"---- then "fresh bread" will be the defining characteristic of our lives.  Prophetic understanding comes in Jesus Christ and His Words by the Holy Spirit.  Thank Him for all the teachers and prophets who help us in this walk.  But you don't have to just wait for the conferences and seminars and special events to hear the "prophetic."  He is right there/here now.

Father, in Jesus' Name, thank You for the "insight" which You Are.  Amen.
