"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:11, KJV)
The, "Savior, which is Christ the Lord," is, "unto you," or, "yours."
This should be enough for a very "Merry Christmas." This is our Lord Jesus Christ Who loved/loves you this way, "He gave," Himself for you and me. Jesus is not like so many for whom, "I love you," is a cliche, those who think it's the sweetest thing to say. Jesus' love is more than "talk" love. The Living Triune God, well, "He gave His Only...."
Jesus' is, "unto you," and me. Jesus is the One of Whom Galatians 2 says, "....who loved us and gave Himself for us." May this be our love for one another, now and always.
Father, in Jesus' Name, Thank You so much for Your "Giving Love." Amen.
When Peter, an 18 year old Norwegian, "heard the call to evangelize China, on that day he not only emptied his wallet into the collection plate, but included a small note with the words, 'and my life.'"
