There Is Only One Way To "Believe In God"

"who by Him do believe in God...."  (1 Peter 1:21, KJV)

The context here is speaking of those who "believe" in Jesus Christ, are surrendered to Jesus Christ.  You and I are of the ones, "who by Him," Jesus Christ, "believe in God."  If one does not, "....believe in God..," by Jesus Christ, that one just does not believe in God.  It is a god they believe in, a god of their own creation.   

Our Lord Jesus tells us, "No one has seen God at any time; the only Begotten (revealed) God Who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him."  Jesus is God, "revealed," God, "explained."  And this, my friend, is the reason we, "....run...the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus...."  

The Amplified Bible defines, "believe," in one place as, "acknowledge and cleave to."  Another place it defines, "believe," as, "trust in, rely on, adhere to, cleave to."  I call and encourage you today to, "believe," in Jesus Christ in this way, "acknowledge and cleave to, trust in, rely on, adhere to, cleave to," Jesus.  "Hang on for dear life" is an old saying.  It just may have relevance here.

"....who by Him believe (as in all of the above) in God."    

Father, in Jesus' Name, I so thank You that man's desire to see you was fulfilled in Jesus.  Amen.

"....From Days of Eternity" To You and Me

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth for Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, from days of Eternity." (Micah 5:2)

Jesus, "c[a]me forth for [Father]...to be Ruler in Israel."  Yet we can also say from Biblical Theology that our Lord Jesus Christ, "....c[a]me forth for," you and me.

Think of it: This One, "from days of Eternity," we could say, "stepped" into our time-space world, came to shed His Most Precious Blood for you and me, to die on a cross for our sin, sicknesses, pains, griefs, sorrows, rise from the dead to sit with HIs Father, "in His Throne."  And, This Same Jesus literally "stepped into" our lives.  "From days of Eternity," into me.  No mind can grasp this.  

"Jesus...said.., 'If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."  What a great take on, "Home Sweet Home," or, "Home is where the heart is," or, "Make yourself at home."  Living in the Godhead, Father, Son Jesus, Holy Spirit is, "Our Home," for those who love Him.  What is so wonderful about, "Our Home," in Jesus Christ is that it is not limited to some geographical location.  Ours is indeed a  "mobile home."  Wherever we go, whatever we are doing, even right now, we are at "home" in Jesus Christ, the Very One, "Whose goings forth are from old, from days of Eternity."

Father, in Jesus' Name, What You "stepped out of" to come to me I can never fathom.  I thank You, though, that You did.  Amen.
