???

"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God....Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.'"  (John 3 & 5)

Notice that the purpose of the new birth is to see and enter the Kingdom of God.  How did this passage become the gospel of the "sinners' prayer," rather than what Jesus calls, "the Gospel of the Kingdom"?!?

"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom...."  I so want, more and more, to be a part of this.

Father, in Jesus' Name, I want to right any wrong of "my" gospel.  Amen.

The Church And The Kingdom

"The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here,' or, 'See there."  (Luke 17:20b-21a)

The Church is the Followers of Jesus Christ, those who have been, "born of the Spirit."  You can say of the Church, "See here," or, "See there."  Jesus tells us, however, that you cannot say, "See here," or, "See there," of The Kingdom.

Will you continue with me in my quest to, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness," to perhaps "understand" more fully, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"?  I don't believe that the repentance called for in John the Baptist's and Jesus' first public Words was only for the New Birth.  I think it was/is something like, "Repent for the Kingdom...."

Father, in Jesus' Name, You told me to seek and proclaim, "The Kingdom of God."  Help me to so do.  Amen.

"....Seek First The Kingdom of God...."

"But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."  (Matthew 6:33)

What, "things"?-- All of the aforementioned in the sermon on the mount, which E. Stanley Jones refers to as, "The Christ of the Mount," and, I add that the, "all things," are everything promised, declared and offered in the Bible, as well as much of everything which were mentioned as "promises" in the Charismatic Renewal.  All are ours ONLY when we, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness."

Again, I recommended the great book by E. Stanley Jones, The Unshakable Kingdom and the Unchanging Person.  The Kingdom of God/Heaven is one of the most neglected "topics" of the entirety of Scriptures.  The Church through the centuries has paid the price for this neglect, this includes, of course, you and me.  You can get the book in paperback on Amazon.  I just noticed that there are five new and 7 used available now.

Father, in Jesus' Name, again and again I pray, Teach me of You and Your Kingdom.  Amen.

* Sarah and I are in Cincinnati, Ohio, until the first of July
* We are still in need of backpacks for the Crow People.  We are once again taking a van.  The easiest way is to contribute the funds, then we will purchase the backpacks.  We can get the packs for $4.00 each.  We have five hundred committed so far.
* We will be sending the remaining funds for Ukrainian Refugees when we get back to Greensburg.  There is still great need.
