Are You In For The "Long Haul"?

"But he who endures to the end shall be saved."  (Matthew 24:13)

Or, "He who 'stays behind, awaits, stands his/her ground, bears up against, perseveres,' will be saved (Yes, "saved," same Greek word for, "born again," salvation)."

What we are reading about, listening to, and watching on the news concerning Ukraine does not seem to be "ending" soon.  You and I need to throw off the conventional life philosophy of those who say, "Now that that's over," or, "I just want things to go back to normal."  The Enemy never tires, nor should you and I.  We must be a people of the "long haul."

The reason the Arab/Islamic world won't go away is that they never tire of their mission to convert and take over the world, and more particularly, to conquer and destroy Judaism and Western Civilization.  The same has been and is true of evil personages over the millennia.  Vladimir Putin is just one of the latest in the very long line of Evil-Doers.  September 11 was a tragic wake-up call to the conventional, pathetic American mindset, viz., "Now that that's over," or, "I can't wait til things get back to normal."  Evil will not allow that!

It is not over, nor will it be until the Trumpet sounds.  You and I need to prepare our hearts for the long haul, i.e., from now until the Second Appearing of our King and Savior, Jesus Christ.  "He who endures to the end...."

Father, in Jesus' Name, write in my heart, "He who endures to the end shall be saved."  Amen.
