"LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL...."

"He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.'  The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and gather them up?'  But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.  Let both grow together until the harvest....'"  (Matthew 13:28-30a)

This is the Kingdom of Heaven in the Earth:  Tares and wheat in the nations of the world, "....both grow together...."  Look around you, and you will see this being played out.

Read, listen, watch the news, moreover, and you will see this parable manifesting throughout the earth.  I confess that I have had at times a tendency to attempt to root out tares.  That's not our job.

So, now what?  Well, forgo any, "....to go and gather them up".  We look for ripen fruit; we proclaim and live Jesus Christ in our day.  Then, according to King Jesus, we allow the wheat and the tares to, "....both grow together-------------------------  until the harvest."

Father, in Jesus' Name, forgive me for when I have attempted to uproot the tares.  Amen.

On Face Book:   Psalm Nugget, OT Lesson, NT Lesson

When Peter, an 18 year old Norwegian, "heard the call to evangelize China, on that day he not only emptied his wallet into the collection plate, but included a small note with the words, 'and my life.'"
Hebrews 12:2

'THE EXPECTED ONE"

(AOL was out for a few days)

"Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?"  (Matthew 11:3)

The NASB says, "Are You the Expected One...."  The Bible, from Genesis to Malachi foretells of the, "Coming (hence, 'the Expected') One."

All in the Old Covenant Era were saved, as are we, by, "Looking unto Jesus," looking for the, "Expected/Coming One, looking to the Cross.  Jesus told the Jews, "Abraham rejoiced to see My Day.  He saw it and was glad."  And remember Simeon?  He was, "....looking for the consolation of Israel."  Luke tells us that, "....when the parents brought in the child Jesus,...then he took Him into his arms, and blessed God, and said, 'Now Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace....For my eyes have seen Your Salvation....'"

The, "Expected One," came, and now you and I, and anyone else who surrenders his/her life to King Jesus can be, "glad.''

Father, in Jesus' Name, I "expect" Your next appearing.  Amen.

"OUR LIFE"

"When Christ, who is our life, is reveal, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."  (Colossians 3:4, NASB)

It cannot be more clear than this, "....Christ...is our life...."----period.
Rufus Mosely called our Lord Jesus, "Perfect Everything."

Pascal said, "Not only do we know God by Jesus Christ alone, but we know ourselves only by Jesus Christ.  Apart from Him, we do not know what is our life, nor our death, nor ourselves."

Father, in Jesus' Name, You are my Life.  Amen.
