I am sharing from a track/booklet which turned my life around as a young school boy.  Here is part 1.

in the Scriptures, to lean there what He is, what He has done, what He gives, what He desires; to find in His character our pattern, in His teachings our instruction in His precepts our law, in His promises our support, in His person and in His work a full satisfaction provided for every need of our souls."

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that when I am looking unto Jesus, I see Your Face.  Amen.

BEWARE "REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY"

"Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord."  (Leviticus 19:18)

Most people think this is just a New Testament concept.

It's sort of like most people operate with some mentality that God got converted between the Old Testament and the New Testament.  You are aware, I'm sure of such comments as, "Oh, that's Old Testament," as though God was sorry that He gave us the Old Testament and started over with the New; therefore, the NT is all some church-goers read, if they read at all.

Our Lord Jesus, "The Word of God," said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."  When we read the New Testament, we should read it with, "I have...come to...fulfill them", eyes.  

Father, in Jesus' Name, continue to remind me of Leviticus 19:18.  Amen.

"....LIKE AN OWL AMONG THE RUINS"

"I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.  I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof."  (Psalm 102:6, 7, NIV)

If you are in such a state as our text describes, I remind you today just how absolutely glorious it is that into such a lowly state our Lord Jesus Christ loves to enter.

I call to your remembrance the promise which Jesus gives to all who surrender to Him.  Jesus tells us, "If any one loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."  

You and I have our Home in God Our Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.  No longer are we, "....like an owl among the ruins.., like a bird alone on a roof."  Now, because of the Blood of Jesus' Cross, His Death and Resurrection, the Blessed Trinity can now declare, "....We will...make Our home with him."  Glorious living quarters.

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that I am not, "....among the ruins-- alone on a roof."  Amen.
