".........Even Forevermore"

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills--- from whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord [Jesus Christ], Who made heaven and earth....The Lord [Jesus Christ] shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore."  (Psalm 121)

I had what appeared to be a serious glitch with arrangements in the early portion of my trip (which has since been resolved).  Originally, however, the thought went through my mind, "So, this is the way it's going to be."  I know; not a very spiritual reaction.  Then I read the first Psalm of today's readings.  As usual, our Lord Jesus Christ has a way to keep us in Him.

I suggest a reading of Psalm 121 every day for the next week---- at least.  See what, "The Word of God," Jesus, does with these, His Words, in your life.
 

Father, in Jesus' Name, I confess that too many times my reactions to life's events are not right.  Thank You that Your "responses" always are.  Amen.

Four Announcements Below

"'Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.  With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.'  And the people were strengthened by the Words of Hezekiah king of Judah."

Here it is friend.  This is, has been, and always shall be our comfort and strength, "world without end, Amen."  The faithful of Judaism clung to these Words through the Middle Ages, the Holocaust, and still to this day.  They have been the classic, "Through many dangers, toils, and snares...."  And so, the Followers of Jesus through the centuries.  And so, you and I?

Spend less time with Fox and CNN and more time in the, "Word of God," Who Is Jesus Christ, and in, "the Words of God," the Scriptures.  The former will depress you; the latter will uplift, strengthen, and sustain you in Jesus Christ.

Father, in Jesus' Name, You, and no one or nothing, are my King.  Amen.
