"Praise Him@

"Praise the Lord!  Praise God...; Praise Him...."  (Psalm 150)

The Bible "Book of Prayers" ends with the command of our text----- no matter if we received that for which we ask or do not.  If all of life seems to go against us, you and I are commanded into the privilege of the human race:  "Praise Him."

Jesus told the Jews that if they did not praise Him, the very rocks would, "cry out."  WELL:

"King Of My Life, I Crown Thee Now"

"My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.  Stay here and keep watch with Me....Then they spat in His face and beat Him; others struck Him with the palms of their hands."  (Mt. 26:38 & 67)

During this last quarter, I have been reading again in the Pentateuch, and have been amazed more and more as to the "involvement" of the Living Triune God, He Who rules the Universe, "by the the Word of His power," in the smallest details of mankind's life.

If you, or anyone, ever has any doubt about, "....my Savior's love for me," I encourage you to take off those religious glasses as you read the Bible.  You will never doubt again just how "involved" in the "smallest" details of our lives is our Lord Jesus Christ.  And, as I read my Gospel text today, I realized again all that Jesus Christ is to me.  The following prayer came to me:

Father, in Jesus' Name, I pray with the hymn writer:
"Lest I forget Gethsemane,
Lest I forget thine agony;
Lest I forget Thy love for me,
Lead me to Calvary."  Amen.

When Peter, an 18 year old Norwegian, "heard the call to evangelize China, on that day he not only emptied his wallet into the collection plate, but included a small note with the words, 'and my life.'"
