"....BE ACTIVE IN SHARING YOUR FAITH...."

"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ."  (Philemon v. 6, NIV, 1984)

I will be talking with some people from the Billy Graham Association this coming Thursday.  It is a program to work in their discipleship/follow up department.  Today's text seemed timely.

We all have a testimony of our walk in Jesus Christ which can relate to someone.  We just have to keep our hearts and ears and eyes open for opportunities.

Father, in Jesus' Name, I pray that I walk in obedience.  Amen.

"GRIEF SHARE"

"You have made Your Name and Your Word greater than anything."  (Psalm 138:2c, NCV)

I am in a class at our local church called, "Grief Share."  There are a lot of hurting people in this world.

Personally, I believe that Truth is the best counselor for grief, the best counselor, period.  The old saying, "What you don't know won't hurt you," is not true.  What you don't know will indeed hurt you.  If we do not know Jesus Christ and His breathed Words, it will hurt us very much.

His, "God-Breathed," Words are Truth, because they are the Breath of Him Who is, "The Truth;" hence, "You have made Your Name and Your Word greater than anything."  Jesus does not give us "what-you-don't-know" counsel to comfort us.  Jesus gives Himself, His Holy Spirit, and His Words as our Comfort. 

Father, in Jesus' Name, thank You that You speak and are Truth.  Amen.
