Here Is Some, "Rock," Theology

"He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just.  A faithful God Who does no wrong, upright and just is He....Is He not your Father, your Creator, Who made you and formed you?...Israel grew fat and kicked; filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.  They abandoned God Who made them and rejected the Rock their Savior....You deserted the Rock, Who fathered you; you forgot the God Who gave you birth....For their rock (the god of this present age) is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede....Take to heart all the Words I have solemnly declared to you....They are not just idle words for you--                                        

                                             THEY ARE YOU LIFE." (DT. 32) 

Jesus affirmed this:  "The Words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life."

Blessed Father, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit, You are my, "Rock," and my, "Life."  Amen.

Hebrews 12:2

No Detail Is Too Detailed For Our Lord Jesus Christ

"And they said, 'The Lord commanded my lord Moses to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel, and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.'"  (Numbers 36: 2)

As the story goes, the daughters were concerned that they would lose their inheritance.  My devotional thought, however, is how the story unfolds with The Living Triune God going into detail as to how to take care of and insure the daughters' inheritance.

Therefore?-- Well, if you and I ever doubt the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ cares about us, or the, "birds of the air," or, "the lilies of the field," then consider Zelphehad's daughters.  Every detail of our lives is covered!  

Father, in Jesus' Name, the detail of Your love and provision for me is astounding.  Amen.
