WHEN HIS "WHISPER" TURNS "INTO THUNDER"

"These things are merely a whisper of God's power at work.  How little we would understand if this whisper ever turned into thunder!"  (Job 26:14, CEV)

There are many translations of this verse, but they all give the essence of incomprehension.

Our text reminds me that life is far less "comprehensible" than I thought, even 10 years ago.  My encouragement to you and me is, Receive and enjoy the, "....whisper of God's power at work", in Jesus Christ today, and every day.  If we receive the, "whisper," we will be better prepared to receive the, "thunder."

Father, in Jesus' Name, forgive me when You "whisper" and I demand "thunder."  Amen.

"....My Trust"

"When I am afraid, I put my trust in You."  (Psalm 56:3)m

David wrote this, "when the Philistines had seized him in Gath."  The Psalms were not written in Bible Schools or Sunday School Classes.  They were written where the psalmists did life.

Most Followers of Jesus throughout history, at one time or another, have experienced enemies similar to those of David, threatening their very lives, as well as famine, etc.  Right at this moment in World History, the Ukrainians are in great peril from a monstrous enemy.  The needs in Ukraine are still great---- and Winter is coming.

I am still receiving any funds which any want to send to help the Ukrainians, particularly our Fellow Followers of Jesus.  The Church in Ukraine is living, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in You."

Father, in Jesus' Name, I pray to be part of the, "trust."  Amen.
