No nation on the earth, the USA, European Union, Africa, Latino Nations, China, or any other, who opposes Israel will escape this, "shame." I have posted Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech to the AIPAC convention on our Blog Site. With all the stupidity and lies coming from the US Administration and news organizations, people need to hear this perspective. Today whatever, "The New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God," whatever, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away," you and I who love and, "follow the Lamb wherever He goes," need to know the destiny of The Land in this time/space world. For however long, someday we will be there with our Living Lord Jesus Christ. And when, "The New Jerusalem...and...a new heaven and new earth," appear, rejoice; we will be there also.
Father, in Jesus' Name, I pray that Your People, "who are called by [Your] Name," the Name of Jesus, will believe You. Amen.

Servant-Followers
"If anyone serves Me, let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him Father will honor." (John 12:26)
Three things I see here-- 1. Servants don't lead; they follow. 2. A servant-follower will always be where Jesus is, or, only Followers of Jesus know His Presence. 3. Father only honors those who follow and thereby serve Jesus Christ. One of the definitions of, "honor," in the dictionary is, "grace; privilege: the [Prince] honored the ball with [his] presence." This is the only honor I want.
I have used this text before. It was the text which took us to Berlin. It has been the text which takes me everywhere, and has from the beginning of my surrender to Jesus Christ, even if I did not know it was so. It goes beyond what is commonly called, "the Great Commission," i.e., The Great Command. It is not just, "'Go,' for me." It is, "Follow Me." Following Jesus Christ has taken me everywhere I have gone in my life. "Follow Me," took us behind the Iron Curtain, took me to Africa and Iran. The, "Follow Me," of Jesus Christ took us to Berlin for a year. While following can be dangerous and a usurper of a comfort zone, it is the only place to be really safe, and, have Our Father honor us with His Presence.
It still amazes me that over 46 years of "full-time service," I have been to many Leaders' Conferences. I have yet to attend a "Followers' Conference." I guess I'll just have to do as the logo says------------ "Just do it!"
Father, in Jesus' Name, convict me every time I try to be a leader. Amen.

Life's "Explanations"
"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear." (John 16:12, NIV)
Wyatt Earp once said to a friend, "The good Lord owes me an explanation of the things that have happened in my life." Don't be so hard on him. I can recall many people over the years who have, in one form or another, said the same thing.
John 16 gives us a little insight into "explanations." In the context of our passage today our Lord Jesus says, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I say the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you." I see several lessons here. First, the Holy Spirit, "will guide [us] into all truth." That is a pretty impressive statement, "all truth." So there are "explanations" of life which we can know, but they come only in the Holy Spirit. Second, the Holy Spirit speaks, "only what He hears." Would to God the Church of today would be so committed. Third, "He...tell[s us] what is yet to come;" hence, I need not be anxious about tomorrow and unfolding world events. Whatever happens, I am ready in Christ Jesus, in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit "informs" and prepares me well. Fourth, The Holy Spirit, "will glorify Me (NAS)." This is the "main" purpose of The Holy Spirit, just as it is the "main" purpose of the Son to glorify our Father. And, according to John 16:14, The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus by, "He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you."
"He will take of Mine...." This is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to you and me, His ministry to the Church, indeed, the world. Moreover, this is what I must be about in my life time. If I take of what is mine rather than what is, "of Mine," I am, "a thief and a robber," who, "climbs up some other way," aligned with the one, who comes to "steal, and to kill, and to destroy." If I take of Jesus Christ's, however, I bring with and in me Him Who is, "Life, and...more abundantly."
Father, in Jesus' Name, the only "explanations" I need is You. Help me to speak only what I hear, and thereby glorify You. Amen.

"God is Good"-- Your Faith, or Whistling in the Dark
"As God lives, who has taken away my justice, and the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter...." (Job 27:2)
The Amplified says, "Who has taken away my right and denied me justice, and the Almighty...has vexed and embittered my life...."
This is the appraisal of a soul who perceives he is an abandoned child. First, there is a "justice," or, "right," which seems to have eluded him. Second, the loss of that, "justice," or his "right" to his life, or, his perception of life, his desires and wants in life, seems to have led to his vexation and bitterness. Even though you and I know how this "book" ends---------------------------- Job did not.
This is where you and I find ourselves from time to time throughout our lives. Sometimes in the middle of the storms of life, it seems to us as in Acts 27, "Since neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small storm was assailing us, from then on all hope of our being saved was gradually abandoned." But if we have "ears to hear," the Word of Jesus will always come to as it did to Paul and Job.
I woke up this morning with a great impression of the Word of God personalized to me. "Nothing shall separate you from the love of God"-- nothing, nothing, absolutely, nothing. This is how my online version of the NASB records the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ to you and me from Hebrew 13, a further confirmation of His "Words" to His people throughout the centuries---"I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU, so that we confidently say, 'THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?'"
Now, "As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." !!
Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that Your Words show me I have no reason to doubt You. Amen.

A "Word" For the American Church (Sorry for the Length)
"....Become watching, and strengthen the rest of the things that are about to die, for I have not found thy works fulfilled before God." (Revelation 3:2, Young's Literal Translation)
Someone once wrote to the 17th century French philosopher, Descartes, "When men sitting in their closet and consulting only their books attempt disquisitions into the Bible, they may indeed tell how they would have made the Book if God had given them that commission. That is, they may describe chimeras which correspond to the fatuity of their own minds, but without an understanding truly Divine they can never form such an idea to themselves as the Deity had in creating it." Men have been "sitting in their closet and consulting only their books" since the Fall. And, as humanity continues to act on this premise, the Bible just remains for most a book to be manipulated for personal, community, or national self promoting interests.
What is going on right now in Washington, DC, is a travesty of American historic roots. We are seeing a cultural shift in America that rivals that of the 1960s. When the American "church" stood idly by as we watched the humanists remove prayer and Bible reading from the state school system, something happened in Heaven. Oh yes, there was the hiccup of the charismatic renewal of the 60s and 70s, and the so-called worship and prayer movements of the 80s and 90s, all of which, I might add, I have benefited from greatly. But then, just when super spiritual people in America were boasting of how much they "bound" the enemy, and stormed heaven with worship and prophetic prayer, the US elected the most pro abortion, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel president (and staff) in our nation's history. I have no doubt that the United States of America is in a "death spiral." Whether or not the nation recovers from it is not up to God. It is up to the citizens. To give a little variation on a cable news service quote, America: God Reports--------

Strong's says, "to take heed lest through remission and indolence some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one," or nation. Whether it is, "Rouse yourselves," or, "Wake up," or, "Become watching," I want to obey. It was as though the Lord Jesus was saying to me this morning, "Do not consider yourself separate from this Church. You are a member of the Church in America---------- Do this!"
Father, in Jesus' Name, I embrace Your Word. Amen.
