The builders of Babel did not want to add something to the reign of God. They wanted to replace the reign of God. America too has built its towers, and now has a whole government of tower builders. If you want to see their end---------------------------------- go to "ground zero" in New York.
Yesterday we read that "evil men do not understand....But those who seek the LORD understand all." The secular humanist has no "understanding of the times." The "bond slave of Jesus Christ" does. You and I must constantly choose with whom we ally ourselves, modern tower builders, whose confusion goes back to Babel, or those who seek Jesus Christ and "understand all," whose understanding is in Jesus Christ. We will choose either the counsel of the self made man, or the Christ made man, the emotional sands of Shangri-La, or the Rock Solid City, "the city which has foundations," the city "whose builder and maker is God?"
Father, in Jesus' Name, keep building, and I will participate. Amen.
