Holocaust Remembrance Day, 27 Nisan 5768

"So that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes....Be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy,  I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; the voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying." (From Isaiah 65:16-19)

"Jews are not wanted here."  This was Germany in the 1930s.  This was all Europe for centuries.  This is today.  One of the most sad realities on this Holocaust Remembrance Day is that for many centuries people who called themselves Christians were participators with the anti-Semites, the Jew baiters.  They were like the people in the US who went to church services on Sunday mornings and lynched Black people on Sunday evenings.  Any people who attempt to eliminate Jesus Christ from any area of their life will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment of God.

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day.  How many remember and stand with the Jews?  Even our own US Government does not understand what "standing with" someone really means.  On May 8, we leave for the Land of the Jews to help them remember, remember the faithfulness of the Living Triune God from the beginning, remember His faithfulness in keeping them alive as a people group, coming to them in Jesus, the Messiah, though most still are rejecting Him, and to pray in the Land, the Land to which the Messiah will return to set up His Kingdom on earth and reign from Jerusalem.

There are friends of mine who do not hold to this eschatology.  There are many in the Christian Church who are "replacement theology" people.  Some look at Daniel and Revelation as allegory.  Some believe that the references to Jerusalem refer prophetically only to "The New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven."  Regardless, take a moment today to do what the Jews in Israel do.  At a certain time today, there will be sirens all over the country.  People will stop what they are doing, some who are driving will stop their vehicle and get out to stand in silent remembrance.  It could all happen again.

Please pray for health and prosperity in body, soul, and spirit.  Pray especially for our time at "The Wall."  In the past, I have had powerful encounters with the Jews there.

Father, in Jesus' Name, none of us know as much as we think.  Whatever I need to know, I know you will let me know.  Amen.
