"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21)

Literally, "to live--Christ, to die--gain."  Life and death is "swallowed up in victory" in Jesus Christ. 

Through the centuries, the great attack on Christianity has not been on Father or the Holy Spirit.  The attacks, and hence, the creeds have centered on Jesus Christ.  Peter was very clear when he said of Jesus, "who by Him [you] believe in God."  Satan knows that any talk of Father, any talk of the Holy Spirit without Jesus Christ as the center and basis of that "talk," leaves man vague and uncertain about God, left to create a god of his own choosing.  The Breath of God is clear, "No one has seen God at any time.  The only begotten (revealed, made manifest) God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him."  This is why Jesus said, "I am the light of the world.  He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."  The enemies of God realized long ago--- minimize, marginalize Jesus, and you have destroyed faith in the Eternal One.  "To live-Christ."

The moon god religion, Islam, rejects Jesus Christ as "God with us," rejects Jesus as, "He has explained Him."  This is why Islam is a violent religion.  It has spent centuries denying Jesus Christ as the only One in Whom "dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."  The "founder" of Islam commands the slaughter of Jews and all who will not submit to his religion.  The "Founder" of Christianity advocates, "love your enemies....I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me."  Jesus offers humanity, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  Our choice-- "If anyone"-- but what sweet choice---- "To live-- Christ." 

And the choice is a daily, not just a one-time sinners prayer, "altar call," choice.  For the rest of our sojourn on this planet, the lies, deception, and distortion of the Truth will continue to come from everywhere.  But press into Jesus Christ, abide in Jesus Christ, and look to Jesus daily in the "God-Breathed" Word; there we will continually see that it is only "by Him you believe in God," and only, "He has explained Him." 

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that You have explained Yourself.  Amen.
