Really?!?

"To the Chief Musician.  To the tune of, 'Death of the Son."

I was finishing my second cup of coffee, sitting in my "favorite" chair, reading the Psalms------------ and I had my legs crossed.  I was not kneeling, bowing, did not have hands raised.  Rather, I probably looked like millions of people around the world having their morning cuppa joe.  But I was in fellowship/participation mode.  

As I realized my "posture," I thought, "This is probably not how you're supposed to do this."  Then I thought, "Why not?  If Brother Lawrence's, The Practice of the Presence of God, taught us anything, he taught us what indeed is sound Biblical Theology.  "Abide in Me, and I in you."  I was simply in "Abiding mode."

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank You that You are always You to me.  Amen.
