"But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)
This is "the great resurrection" chapter, the decree to the universe that death has no more, "sting," Hell has no more, "victory." Satan was given the final, "sting," in the Blood of Jesus, "in His Cross," and Hell succumbed to the, "victory," of our Lord Jesus Christ, "....having nailed it (everything out to destroy you and me) to the cross."
Rejoice today, my friend. It may look bleak all around you, but our Lord Jesus Christ literally, "....nailed it to the cross." All things attempting to rob you of victory have already been defeated, yes, no matter what is going on around you right now, victory is ours in Jesus. Sing some song about It/Him; confess with your mouth, no matter how difficult is seems for the words to come through. You are today right now of the Church of Jesus Christ, those who, "are more than conquerors through [Jesus] Who loved us", and demonstrated His great love in Jesus at the Cross---- and an empty tomb!
Father, in Jesus' Name, I pray that the confession of victory in You, "shall continually be in my mouth." Amen.
