"We Were With Him"

"And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain."  (2 Peter 1:18)

What glorious Words are these, "We were with Him on the holy mountain."  Earlier the old apostle says, "For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty." 

After Pentecost, the Church entered a "new phase."  No longer is the testimony just, "we were with Him," but rather as Jesus promises, "I in you and you in Me."  So, whether, "on the holy mountain", or right there, right here, right now, we are in Jesus Christ and Jesus in us, "....the hope of glory."

Father, in Jesus' Name, Thank You so much that whether "mountain top," or "valley," I am in You and You in me.  Amen.
