Humanism, Notwithstanding

"He has shown His people the power of His works, giving them the lands of other nations." (Psalm 111:6, NIV)

Apparently our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, does not know this is politically incorrect, just not nice.  But then, again, I guess He can do whatever He does.  A friend of mine once quipped, "God has this problem: He thinks He's God."

But lest the politically correct among us get all self righteous, which is their MO, I repeat that if you go back far enough, every people group has taken something from someone, yes, Africans, Arabs, Latinos/Hispanics, Native Americans, Catholics, Protestants, etc., etc.   The problem with the humanists is that they always claim the moral "high ground." It can't be sin; there is some other culprit out there.  Furthermore, they make judgments on the Blessed Trinity as to how He has dealt with humanity over the millennia, e.g, His militarism, judging and rejecting those who do not follow His Ways, the old, "If God is God, why..............?  Humanists are driven by one motivation: Hatred of God.

I was in the Congressional Helsinki Commission (OSCE) hearing yesterday (I ran into traffic that even for DC was unbelievable).  One of the presenters shared that "the crime of genocide and war crimes already can be prosecuted, under certain conditions, against not only Americans but also aliens."  His organization tracks not only current "Crimes against humanity," but also Bosnian War Criminals, even those few remaining Nazi War Criminals!  Our humanist-driven Democrats are doing everything they can to ignore this, even stop this.  It's not nice; didn't you know that?!?  The rule of law to them is changing "illegal" to "undocumented."  Such humanist foolishness is taking over the United States of America, one generation at a time.

"[Jesus] has shown the people the power of His works...."  One way is, "....giving them the lands of other nations."  CNN, MSNBC and the "bleeding hearts" hate this Biblical Theology. Humanist do not like the reality that, "The earth is the Lord's...."  When Jesus gave the Land of Israel to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, it was occupied by the Canaanites.  He changed that.  Our Lord Jesus can do whatever He pleases.  Try this:  "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (talk about, 'giving them...lands of other nations'!)....Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband....God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor cryingThere shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."  I'll take Jesus' Words to any others' anytime.

Father, in Jesus' Name, in all the clamor of the world, I believe You.  Amen.
