"And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful." (Titus 3:14)
Evangelicals for generations have had a very real tendency to sideline, "....to maintain good works...."
Many think that we are saved from good works rather than what the Bible teaches us, "....we are...created in Christ Jesus for good works...."
Works don't save us. They are the evidence that we are saved.
Father, in Jesus' Name, I commit myself, "....to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs...." Amen.
