"Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the paths in which to dwell." (Isaiah 58:12, NASB)
Our text is what has been coming to me, no new "words," no "fresh" insights about the plague which is throughout the Earth. "You will raise up the age-old foundations." Jesus teaches us that our, "foundations," are His Very Words, the Scriptures, "the Words of God." The Scriptures which apply now are the same which have applied in every previous age, as Ecclesiastes says, "Is there anything of which is may be said, 'See, this is new'? It has already been in ancient times before us."
Regardless of anything else, this is true of the Ancient Texts, the power in Jesus' Words to see His People through any world event. As for what you and I should be about? Walk in, "You will raise up the age-old foundations."
Father, in Jesus' Name, help me to continue to, "raise up the age-old foundations." Amen.
When Peter, an 18 year old Norwegian, "heard the call to evangelize China, on that day he not only emptied his wallet into the collection plate, but included a small note with the words, 'and my life.'"
